CAPS SMART Product Line / Installation in Electrical Sockets and Installation Boxes

The ASES CAPS SMART system (consisting of two parts: ASES CAPS OUT and ASES CAPS IN) is developed to protect electrical installations, especially sockets and installation boxes, where it can effectively detect and eliminate fire risks. ASES-CAPS-OUT is placed in smaller enclosed protected spaces, such as sockets or installation boxes. When the temperature rises above 50 °C, it sends a signal to ASES-CAPS-IN, which is located in the distribution board. It then disconnects the corresponding electrical circuit from the power source, thereby preventing further heating and fire occurrence. At the same time, ASES CAPS-IN displays an alarm message, activates acoustic and LED signaling, and shows information about the deactivated electrical circuit. If the temperature in the protected area continues to rise, the wall of the ASES-CAPS-OUT system softens and cracks at the point of highest thermal stress, releasing the extinguishing medium. Thanks to its own power source, the system is fully autonomous and functions even during a power outage.
